Stretch Powersports Open House June 2nd

Join Rob and Carrissa and the rest of the team at Stretch Powersports new and recently remodeled location in downtown Cairo, Nebraska for an open house on June 2nd.
Stretch Powersports came to Cairo a little over 3 ½ years ago. Powersports parts out jet skis and all terrain vehicles selling parts on Ebay. Last year Stretch Powersports shipped approximately 4,000 packages all across the United States. The Cairo Post Office kept busy shipping nearly 3,000 of those packages. Since opening the new location retail parts, riding gear and a line from Superior Industries Sprayers have been added to the services offered. Stretch Powersports also sells a wide selection of used ATV’s, UTV’s and motorcycles.

In addition to the parts business Stretch Powersports offers full repair and sales of all-terrain vehicles and jet skis. The business employees Rob and Carrissa Stretch and several full and part time staff.

Stop in and tour Stretch Powersports, 303 High Street, downtown Cairo, Nebraska on June 2nd, from 11 am – 2 pm. The Medina Street Vault is catering lunch for those who attend.

Children’s Theater Auditions

Missoula Montana Theater is hosting auditions for children’s theater starting June 11th at the Cairo Community Center.

Auditions and practice begin on June 11th from 1pm to 5:15pm. There is no charge for participation.  No experience in theater is needed.  Children from Cairo, Boelus, Dannebrog and surrounding communities encouraged to participate.

This is an excerpt form Missoula Montana Children’s Theater Website.

The primary goal of MCT – indeed, the organization’s mission – is the development of lifeskills in children through participation in the performing arts. Within each MCT cast, girls and boys are equal; the disabled become able; the shy experiment with bravery; the slow are rehearsed to perfection; and the gifted become part of the whole. The lesson they learn is that all of them are necessary for the show to go on. Few arenas exist where responsibility is taught and learned so clearly. MCT provides a unique opportunity to learn the lessons of group dynamics while excelling as an individual – a lesson from art that carries into life. MCT strives to use participation in the performing arts as a vehicle to develop lifeskills including social skills, communication skills, self-discipline, a strong work ethic, an understanding of the team concept and self-esteem.

Please make plans to attend the performances

Saturday June 16th at 4:30pm and 7pm.

The public is encouraged to attend.

This programs is supported by the Cairo Community Foundation, Ticket Sales and a grant from the Koepp Foundation.
