Cairo Methodist Church Annual Bazaar

Saturday November 18 will be the annual Soup & Bazaar Day at the Methodist church in Cairo at 506 E Kansas St. from 8 am-2 pm. There will be coffee and rolls served in the morning. Soup, sandwiches & pie will be served from 10 am-2 pm. There will be a free will offering and carry outs available.
There will be a craft, baked goods, jellies & plants for sale and a large selection of attic treasures also.

7th Annual Purses and Pastries

New Hope Christian School presents the 7th Annual Purses and Pastries event, Sunday, November 12 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.  Note the venue has changed.  This years event will be held at Medina Street Vault.

Stop in to participate in the silent auction.  Great opportunity to bid on items that might fit your Christmas list.  Medina street will have their fabulous pastries and drinks available for purchase.

Carve Out Cancer

Centura Hills Golf Club is hosting Carve Out Cancer on Monday, October 23rd from 6 to 8 pm

Bring your pumpkin to the clubhouse and carve it into any masterpiece you want!  Snacks and beverages will be available while you are carving.  Voting will start as soon as everyone is finished carving.  If you can’t make it to the pumpkin carving event, you can stop by the clubhouse any time before Friday to cast your votes.

$1 = 1 Vote


Voting will end on Friday, October 27th at 8:30pm.  The winning and runner up pumpkins will receive a prize and will be revealed at 9pm during the Halloween party.

Half of the money raised will be donated to the GRACE Foundation and the other half will be given to a member of Centura HIlls who is battling cancer.

Haunted Homecoming Parade

Centura Schools will be hosting a Homecoming week kickoff parade on Sunday October 15th at 5 pm.  A free hot dog meal will be provided by Centura Boosters.  Bounce houses and kids games will be available, also check out the book fair inside at the elementary library.

Sunday Dinner

Save the drive and the dishes.  Eat at the Senior Center Sunday, October 15th.
Service from 11 am to 1pm.  Everyone Welcome.
