Fundraiser for Centura Destination Imagination teams qualifying for
Global Finals in Knoxville, TN

Centura embarked on its first year of having a Destination Imagination program. Destination Imagination encourages students to learn higher order thinking and to improve in creative thinking and collaborative problem solving. Destination Imagination has seven challenges plus an instant challenge that students from elementary, middle, secondary and university levels can compete in. The individual challenges are technical, scientific, fine arts, improvisational, structural, and service learning. The teams must come up with and create their solutions to the challenges without interference from any outside sources, including parents and team managers.

Centura sent eight teams to their regional competition at Cross County School on March 7, 2015, and all eight teams qualified to compete at the Destination Imagination Nebraska Affiliate Finals at UNK on April 11, 2015! The pictured three teams now qualify to compete at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 20-23, 2015! Over 1,400 teams from over 16 different countries will be attending and competing! This has been a year of teamwork, creativity, perseverance, courage, and talent for these three teams to earn their way to Global Finals, especially in their first year of competing!

Now these teams are working to financially earn their way to Global Finals. If you would like to donate online, a webpage has been set up at https://life.indiegogo.com/fundraisers/centura-di-global-finals-2015/x/10238247
