Register for Musical Theater Camp for Cornstalk Festival

Cairo Community TheaterCairo and the surrounding area has had baseball teams for many, many years, but did you know the first ever baseball game was played in 1846 with no gloves or mitts, using a ball of yarn that had a cover stitched over it?  Share these and more history of the game with others through the musical program “Inside Pitch.”

Join other boys and girls at Musical Theater Camp and learn  and perform a program called “Inside Pitch” June 9-13 at the air conditioned Community Center. This is the third summer Musical Theater camp in Cairo with dozens of boys and girls from all around the area participating each year.

Join a fun-filled “camp” on Monday-Friday from 12:30 to 3 p.m., ending with a 45 minute performance of singing, acting, and choreography for the entire community on Friday night at 6:30 in the Community Center as part of the Cornstalk Celebration.  Boys and girls need to have completed kindergarten through eighth grade and be ready to learn this fun-filled musical celebrating the “game of summer”-BASEBALL!

Cost is $5.00/child and registration forms are available at Pathway Bank or click here to download.   Completed, signed Forms and fee can be mailed to P. O. Box 595 or taken to the Village Office or brought June 9 to the first day of camp.
